About Katrina
I've spent over 20 years doing one thing well: helping small business owners make sense of their finances and keep more of what they earn.
I started my own practice because I saw too many small businesses getting shortchanged — either paying big-firm prices for junior-staff work, or relying on tax preparers who disappeared after April 15th. Neither felt right to me.
My practice is intentionally small. I work with every client directly. When you call, I answer. When you have a question in July, I'm here. That's not a sales pitch — it's just how I work.
I hold a degree in Finance and Accounting from Georgia State University, I'm a licensed CPA, and my practice is powered by Harness. I serve clients in all 50 states, fully remotely — which means geography is never a barrier to working together.
Counsel, not just compliance. That's what I'm here for.
My Story
I grew up in Canada and moved to Georgia to attend Georgia State — and never left. The South has a way of doing that to people. I fell in love with it quickly and built my life here.
Outside of work, I'm the mother of twin teenagers, which keeps things interesting. I'm also a giant breed dog lover — which means my house is full, loud, and never boring.
I tell clients this not because it's small talk, but because it matters. I understand what it actually feels like to run something. The long days, the moving parts, the moments where the numbers have to work even when life doesn't slow down. I'm not just your accountant. I'm someone who gets it.
